Kanye West Releases Yeezy Season 4 Fashion Show Details

Cancel your afternoon plans on Wednesday, September 7, because Kanye Westjust announced the time of his Yeezy Season 4 fashion show. The event is slated to take place at 3 p.m. eastern time and livestream exclusively on Tidal. Few other details are known about what ‘Ye is planning for Season 4. It’s presumed the event will take place in New York City—hey, you never know with Kanye—and will feature female models of multi-ethnic backgrounds, the result of a somewhat controversial casting call posted to West’s Twitter over Labor Day weekend.
In the months following West’s Season 3 collection, he’s inked a more expansive deal with Adidas that stipulates that the athleisure giant will produce more of Yeezy’s clothing and open Yeezy stores. What that could mean for Season 4 is even more runway looks, accessories, and sneakers drops—plus a larger budget, courtesy of Adidas, that could really turn the fashion show into an event. (Of course, Season 3 was an album listening party-turned-fashion show at MSG, so it’s going to be pretty hard to top that.)
In unrelated, for now, news: Kim Kardashian West spent the weekend Snapchatting “Calabasas” branded clothing for kids and teasing an upcoming collab with her husband and Adidas. Brood over that while you search Google Maps for a locale epic enough to top The Garden.

With inspiration from English artist Barbara Hepworth and Japanese textile designer Reiko Sudo, Belle is well on her way to revolutionizing the fashion industry, one sustainable piece at a time.  Read more about Belle’s experience below!  What was your inspiration behind your collection for the EcoChic Design competition?  I was inspired to create a collection by “weaving” in a sustainable way. Each design was developed through experimenting on what comes out of the loom after reweaving various types of waste fabric I found in a bag factory, including nylon bag linings, leather and luxurious silk warp. I tried to make sustainable fashion appealing by mixing in contemporary Asian aesthetic...
